The Dark Knight

Actually I do not do fan art preferring my own ideas and concepts. But once I had a talk with a fellow who is an avid Batman fan and remembered myself reading (some) comics and watching Batman: The Animated Series, and Tim Burton's Batman and Batman Returns and of course Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Trilogy. So I thought why not to do one with the Dark Knight.

The idea of the piece came when Imaginasylum's inhabitants decided to organize a masquerade ball at New Year's Eve.

I'm planning to add art for the dwarfs and Snow White later.

We bought a pumpkin big and round
that lived the summer through
without an eye to look at things...
and now it looks through two.

It used to be all dark inside
when growing on the vine,
but now it has a toothy smile
and face that's full of shine.


... Oh, huh, am I late? No Hallowe'en today? Ha, folks, we have Hallowe'en here whenever we want :)
Ok, joking apart. Actually the reason is that I've just finished the piece that was getting dusty on my table for several months.

Rusty is one of the best and experienced watchers of the last several decades. And though now he is not as active as in the past before several severe injuries he is still considered to be one of a few who can do a hard job. They often say if not Rusty then no one.
